On December 4, the first one-stop service counter for foreigner's work and residence permit was launched in Xiamen. In the future, foreign talents and employers that satisfy the conditions to apply for a foreigner's work permit (Class A and B) can clear the formalities of work permit and residence permit simultaneously via the same service counter at the entry/exit service lobby and the permits will be mailed to the applicant's home directly. Previously, the foreign talent service station (immigration service station) was already launched at the Phase I Project of Software Park to provide "one-stop", "local" services to high-end foreign talents (Class A talents). The new one-stop service counter will cover nearly 2,000 Class A and Class B talents of Xiamen and operate according to a regular schedule. It will be open to business in line with the entry/exit service lobby.
